Sib. 7.1: How to create a system object like this Posted by Peter Danemo - 13 Dec 07:18AM Hide picture Hi!I would like to create a system object like this, see the included pic. I've only found two way of doing this. 1. creating it using two different objects. The problem is that I have to manually adjust the symbol in every part. Most annoying.2. to create a graphic and paste in to the score. The problem with that is getting to be the exact correct size. I also seems that I have to paste it in every single part.I don't need the metric modulation to play back. I just the the notation.Anyone!?/Peter Attachment 4=3.jpg (2K) Back to top Allthreads Re: Sib. 7.1: How to create a system object like this Posted by Jesper Elén - 13 Dec 08:39AM Hide picture Made a symbol, have a look at the bottom of symbols page. You can see how it's made by adding symbols together.Jesper-- MacBook Pro, 8GB, OS 10.6.8, Sibelius 7.1.3, Wallander Intstruments Brass & Woodwind,EZDrummer Jazz, Pianoteq 4.2 Stage, Kontakt 4.2.4 Attachment Example.sib (80K) Back to top Allthreads Re: Sib. 7.1: How to create a system object like this Posted by Peter Danemo - 13 Dec 08:54AM Hide picture Hej Jesper!Ett stort tack! You'll have to insert a hidden metronome mark. The ones shown in the png will all work without the need for any other instruction. All were created in Preferences/Wordmenus.Derek-- Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit - Intel Xeon@3.47 Ghz - 24GB RAM - NVidia Quadro 5000 with 6143 graphics memory - 3 TB hard disks (of which 2 TB SSD), Sibelius 7.1.3, Vienna Symphonic Library Special Edition plus full percussion library. Or use a dotted eight note.Jesper-- MacBook Pro, 8GB, OS 10.6.8, Sibelius 7.1.3, Wallander Intstruments Brass & Woodwind,EZDrummer Jazz, Pianoteq 4.2 Stage, Kontakt 4.2.4 Back to top Allthreads Re: Sib. 7.1: How to create a system object like this Posted by Peter Danemo - 13 Dec 10:53AM Hide picture That's right. Personally I think It's more reader friendly to write the modulation using quadruplets = quarter notes, instead of dotted 8ths = quarter notes. But in the the end it's probably what you're used to that will make you notate things in certain ways.As you both pointed out it's easy to create a hidden metronome for getting the playback right. All the best!/Peter Back to top Allthreads

Please note: The included Kontakt Files are compatible with the Kontakt 4.2.4 engine and later versions of Kontakt. They will not work in the free Kontakt Player. Users are still able to use the included sample files, even if they do not own Kontakt.
